If you told me a few years ago that I would be opening a modeling agency and academy in Lagos, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
But today, Fresh Models is officially here — and this journey has already been one of the most rewarding, stressful, exciting, and emotional experiences of my life.
For those just discovering us, Fresh Models is a modeling agency and training academy based in Lagos, Nigeria focused on discovering, developing, and managing the next generation of talent. Our goal is not just to sign models, but to truly prepare them for long-term success in the fashion and entertainment industry.
Nigeria has no shortage of talent. Every day, I see young people with incredible potential, strong looks, unique personalities, and natural confidence. But one thing I noticed over the years is that many aspiring models never get proper guidance or development before entering the industry. A lot of people are expected to just “figure it out” on their own.
That’s one of the main reasons I started Fresh Models in Lagos, Nigeria.
I wanted to build a space where models could actually learn the craft and understand the business side of the industry before stepping into major opportunities. That’s why Fresh Models is also a modeling academy — because development matters just as much as discovery.
Inside the academy, we train models on runway walking, posing, skincare, fitness, nutrition, professionalism, confidence, industry etiquette, and overall personal development. I wanted to create the type of environment I wish more people had access to when starting out.

And trust me, building Fresh Models behind the scenes was far from glamorous.
There were so many moving pieces that people never see online. Long nights planning. Endless calls and meetings. Figuring out branding, construction, furniture, logistics, schedules, class structures, recruitment, and operations while balancing life between Los Angeles and Lagos. There were moments where I genuinely wondered if I was taking on too much at once.
But every challenge kept reminding me why this vision matters.
One thing I’m especially grateful for is the people who helped bring Fresh Models to life. So many friends supported me throughout this process — whether it was helping with setup, offering advice, making introductions, checking in on me during stressful moments, or simply believing in the vision early on.
A lot of what people see today was built through collaboration, support, and community.
To everyone who contributed in any way, thank you. I truly mean that.
What excites me the most is that this is only the beginning for Fresh Models. The long-term vision is much bigger than opening one agency in Lagos, Nigeria. I want Fresh Models to eventually expand into broader international markets and become a globally recognized platform for African talent development and management.
We’re building something with long-term impact in mind.
This is just chapter one.
If you’ve been following the journey so far, thank you for the support. And if you’re new here, welcome to Fresh Models.
There’s so much more coming.
