I’m excited to announce the launch of Afro Theory, an online lifestyle brand for Afro-pop culture. Afro Theory features unique pieces for both men and women, focusing on prints and basic apparels.

I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, a place where fashion is a language. As a child, people who were fashion-forward always got recognition and respect; because of this, I knew that having my own style and keeping up with trends was something I wanted to prioritize.

The idea to launch an online clothing brand came from my peers who encouraged me to start a collection just for men. The encouragement to do this continued to increase after I made a short film titled “Ankara Nation“, and even more so when I began to make custom pieces for myself which can be seen on my Instagram account @fresh_pepper.

Afro Theory is about stepping out of your comfort zone, daring to be loud, vibrant and bold.
